I’m a New York City–based UX designer driven by a deep curiosity to better understand people and how they interact with the world. 

 

My background in engineering fed my interest in how things that we use daily are made (anyone else really like the old Food Network show Unwrapped?). I explored a couple different types of engineering (chemical and industrial) before I realized I wanted to focus on the WHY behind the design of a product instead of the HOW.

This shift brought me to UX design, where I could learn about why certain design decisions are made and be able to create human-centered experiences that make a positive impact. I've found that UX design perfectly combines creativity and analysis - I'm able to assess real needs to develop creative solutions.

When I'm not designing, I'm most likely making my way through my “To Be Read” list, crocheting, roller skating, or taking a dance class.
